Omg there is a guy at my university that wears a hat like that all the time and he looks JUST LIKE THAT
He walks around with his chin in the air and I’m just like “…bro”
Hats are very tricky accessories. Everyone has a differently-shaped head and therefore no two people fill the same hat the same way. In the past, fedoras were usually custom made for the person wearing them, making sure they fitted to a t. Nowadays, as a result of mass-production, hats are made to “fit” several sizes, with the most common sizes being “small”, “medium”, and “large”. Naturally, this causes problems in regards to fit, and most people end up buying a hat size too small for their head.
Furthermore, the type of person who usually buys these and wears them all around usually knows nothing about good style. I mean, c’mon. Look at that dude. His fedora has stripes. It was made to go with certain striped articles of clothing, which brings me to my next point: Fedoras were usually made as part of a set. So when you wear it without the appropriate suit, you look like a total tool.
That is all
accurate
Gabe. Thank you. Very well-put.
